Hey There !
A few years ago I began a Musical Odyssey, wherein I began recording freeform experiments on the Classical Guitar, using my own Tuning. I am sitting on over 1000 unedited mini-disks. I knew someday I would have the gear necessary to turn these disks into CDs.
As you can see, that day is dawning. The process of editing has begun and hopefully over the next few years, (2006-2010), I will be releasing several dozen, if not hundreds of different recordings!
A unique twist to this adventure is I am creating the majority of these CDs to benefit various individuals and assorted causes.
For example, upon learning that my God-Daughter Jessie was going to have a baby, I was inspired to record several disks with the intention of releasing them and seeing to it that she receives all the $$$ from the sale of her CDs.
Another example would be Blues In The Schools, the Musical Outreach Program of the Cincy Blues Society.
One way you could help is purchase a few copies of the same CD, to give away to some friends or family who would enjoy what I do on guitar. That way you would help spread the Word about this unique method of Blessing others who could use a little help... |

I have a Vision of visiting all 50 States over the next few years and documenting my Journey via audio and video. The Purpose of these travels is to end up with two CDs from each State, as well as, a number of Documentaries.
All the profits from the sales of any and all copies Created from 50 of the CDs, will go towards the “John C. Redell Breath of Life Foundation”, which is merely my way of expressing and fulfilling my desire and Plan to generate funds for children with breathing disorders. 100% of the profits from the sales of certain CDs and Art Disks, will be used to help the children and their families deal with the costs of their infirmities. I have a Friend at a children’s medical facility who has expressed an interest in helping me route the $$$...
All the profits from selling any and all copies of the other 50 CDs, will be used to generate funds for Green Space, which is another way of stating my intent to help re-forest our Planet. More trees mean better air, which should mean fewer breathing problems. Again, 100% of the profits will go to this Purpose. There are many verifiable and qualified Organizations already in existence, who would be grateful for some extra support.

Inside any CD bearing this Guitar logo or variations of it, you will find free flowing Classical Guitar sounds, not necessarily in a Classical style. I drink a few cups of coffee, sit back and reflect on the wonders of Life, the events of the day or perhaps some interactions I may have had with the people I care about. I use my own Guitar Tuning, and the Inspiration I get from the gifted Circle of Musicians I find myself surrounded by. I am indeed Blessed and Fortunate to be part of such a wonderful process.

Soon after I became a part of the Cyber Community, I said one of those kind of non-prayers. Something like, “It would be really cool, if I could create Art with my computer.”
Shortly after I felt compelled to check out some of the programs I already had and acquire some new ones.
Then, “Lo and Behold”, shapes and images began to emerge onto my screen that were mesmerizing and beautiful. Since Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I can only hope you see what I see... |

On July 9, 2002, I had an unverifiable experience that reaffirmed some of my own thoughts and Beliefs about Life.
In short a fever took over my body, and the following two hours seemed full of wondrous internal revelations, as well as, some specific comments from some form of heavenly persona.
Granted, it could’ve been nothing more than a fever induced hallucination.
Since I don’t feel the message was for anyone but me, I think it is safe to say, “Faith is in the Heart of the Believer...”
I did however come away with a renewed sense of purpose, and for me that usually manifests outwardly, through my fingers onto the nearest fretboard. Such is the Music you will find on my CDs .
Whether you believe my Experience or not, I do think you will agree what I play is at least inspired, if by nothing more than being grateful to be alive. |
